PJA Mission
and Membership

We are mission central for Pararescuemen, Association members and PJA sponsored events such as biannual Reunions and Rodeos.

We fund events and memorials commemorating the valorous, humanitarian and combat actions of Pararescuemen serving the globe.

As an IRS Designated 501c-19 organization, the PJ Association recognizes and promotes the values established in the Pararescue Creed ‘That Others May Live’.  As a private non-profit organization, your association needs your continued support, to fund world-class events for our membershi

Participation
and Support

With active engagement and participation from members, we remember those who came before us.  We demonstrate respect and recognition for those at the tip of the spear in global missions of humanitarian aid and the war against terror and oppression around the globe.  It is to this mission and fraternity that we have organized the PJ Association.

The Pararescue Association
Service Award

The Pararescue Association Service Award is a newly established award in honor of two distinct forefathers of the association, Kerry (KO) Kelly and William (Bill) Vargas.

The award is presented to an individual or individuals that have distinguished themselves for continued contributions and support to the Pararescue Associations and more importantly to the Pararescue community at large.

Individuals receiving this award have given of themselves untiring time, energy, and support for the improvement of the association and its mission.

Through their contributions the Pararescue community has benefited immensely.  Following in the character and fashion of KO and Bill, these individuals have accomplished numerous tasks, behind the scene, without receiving deserving recognition for their contributions.

It is most fitting to honor these individuals as the first recipients of the Kelly/Vargas Service Award: Barbara Kelly, Dennis Kraft, Douglas Horka and James Watson, for their tireless contributions to the Pararescue Association.

Being a
PJA Member

The PJ Association is founded on the distinctive relationship among men in the Pararescue career.  Our members share the bond and spirit of the Pararescue brotherhood.

The Association provides the initiative and resources to promote special events and activity, and to document the history, heritage and legacy of USAF Pararescuemen, as we help shape the future of Pararescue with our collective and experienced vision.Kell
